In addition, the plan also provides lump sum coverage for fractures on specified sites suffered due to accidents.

Manulife weed out unnecessary underwriting questions to make it simpler for you to apply. Here are the three questions that will be asked during your application for this policy:
Qns 1. Do you have any investigation, test, consultation, follow-up, surgery or procedure recommended by a doctor which is still pending? (treatment and follow up for high blood, high cholesterol and diabetes mellitus are not required to be declared)
Qns 2. In the last 5 years, have you ever been hospitalized or undertaken surgery based on doctor’s advice or investigation?
Qns 3. Have you ever been diagnosed with cancer (including carcinoma-in-situ), angina (chest pain), heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, dementia or mild cognitive impairment, chronic lung disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson, diabetic retinopathy, rheumatoid arthritis or osteoporosis
4. No-Claim Pay-out of 25% Total premium paid
If you have stayed healthy throughout your policy term till the age of 85 and have not made any claims from the policy, Manulife will refund 25% of your total premium paid to you.
Sounds good? Of course! But there are also certain limitations to this plan. In particular if you’re concerned about diabetic complications arising from diabetes, this plan do not provide diabetic complication coverage whilst there are plans in the market that does.
